Summer 2014

CONGRATULATIONS, PNCS IS BACK FROM THE BRINK

At the annual meeting on Saturday July 12, 2014, the Pacific Northwest Cornish Society elected new officers for the next term.

ShaSha Alsdorf volunteered to take on the job of the President for one year with Craig Pedlar as Vice President, then in July 2015, they will trade places and Craig will serve as President and ShaSha as Vice President. I will work with ShaSha and Craig in their new roles and help them with the transition.

Ann Holiday agreed to continue as Secretary and Newsletter Editor and Producer. Dot Huntley will continue in her role as Treasurer and Membership Chair.

Welcome these officers to the Board and support them in their endeavors.

Alene Reaugh will continue to handle the Cornish Country Store, check the website for items available for sale. I will also monitor the lending library.

Mickey Sieracki – Webmaster, will continue to monitor the website and to help with all things involving technology.

Bonnie LaDoe is responsible for maintaining a photographic record of all the Society’s happenings. She will continue to do this. Be sure to look at the Scrapbook when attending a meeting.

Everyone can help by submitting articles or suggestions for the newsletter directly to Ann. Please dig down and come up with stories of your families or reports of trips to Cornwall and/or anything related to our mutual interest of all things Cornish. Please also submit suggestions for speakers or program ideas.

In addition, please remember to send your dues to treasurer Dot.

Please make your checks payable to PNCS and send them to:
